Welcome to Innominato Strings. A Sydney Community String Orchestra for Adults above grade 3. We practice weekly in Chatswood.

We’re currently looking for Violin and Double Bass Players to join us! Get ready now and prepare with our new fantastic 2019 repertoire!

As we now have as many cello players as violinists, we are placing any new cello players on our waiting list until we get more violin players. A sure-fire way of a cello player getting into the orchestra is to bring along a violin or double bass player to join us.

Reasons to join us

  • We are a relaxed friendly group who are together because we love playing string instruments
  • We are an enthusiastic group of adult players who can play grade 3 or above
  • We provide the opportunity for adult amateur musicians of all backgrounds to come together to learn and play
  • Our conductor not only runs the string orchestra but also takes us through new music at our own pace
  • We encourage each other to play the best we can
  • Opportunities to play in trios, quartets, etc.
